Nille is the co-founder of Danish change agency Märk, a certified B Corp. She brings over 20 years of consulting experience in systems change, transformative business development, and movement making. She is an expert in corporate activism, helping companies define and ignite their social ambition and navigate the shift from extractive to regenerative business. She designs, facilitates, and drives business transformation to have a positive impact on people and the planet.
Nille’s career began in management consultancy where she navigated the diverse business world from start-ups, through family-owned SMEs to large corporates. She was responsible for designing and facilitating strategic transformation in international environments for large organizations, such as Biogen, Maersk, Ørsted, and Copenhagen Airport.
In 2015, Nille certified her consultancy as the first B Corp in the Nordics and founded the Nordic B Corp Movement, which has since grown to a strong community of 40 certified B Corps. Nille is a visionary thinker, skilled at spotting connections and patterns, and an expert in evolving the ability of leaders to think differently.
Nille firmly believes that business only has the right to exist if it helps society to flourish. An optimistic changemaker, she is fervently dedicated to the transformation of the private sector through the redefinition of success in business so that one day all companies will compete not only to be the best in the world but to be the best for the world.
Nille is a master facilitator, co-founder of Danske Facilitatorer, the Danish Facilitator Association, and a lecturer in Corporate Activism at Copenhagen Business School and The Royal Danish Academy for Architecture, Design & Conservation.
She engaged in the 4th Sector Network, has been a mentor to young talent in the UNLEASH Global Innovation Lab for the SDGs, been an advisor to the Confederation of Danish Industries on the SDGs and she was appointed to the Danish Government’s Task Force dedicated to building a Civil Society Strategy as a representative for the business community with specific expertise on Social Enterprise and Benefit Corporations. In 2020 Nille was named one of the ‘Leading Ladies’ in sustainability in Denmark.
