Dr. Stefan Siemer
Head of Corporate Sustainability of Weleda AG and Weleda Group. Founder of Ambulanz für neue Kommunikation (Clinic for Innovative Communication). Expert in collaborative strategy development and implementation for: sustainability and corporate responsibility, brand and identity leadership communication and stakeholder commitment.
Stefan has over two decades of experience in sustainability, brand, and communication strategy. He is the Head of Corporate Sustainability of Weleda AG and Weleda Group. In 2009, at the height of the banking crisis, Stefan founded the Ambulanz für neue Kommunikation (Clinic for Innovative Communication). As the Managing Director there he advises companies, NGOs and the public sector on the interface between the following areas: responsibility and sustainability, identity and brand, and communication and creating meaningful relationships.
His previous roles include brand strategy and planning, NGO consulting, and research & development at various universities including the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Stefan’s clients have included, among others, BSH, AOK, Deutsche Telekom, Allianz, otto group, Panasonic, Telefonica, Primavera, and Weleda.
Stefan studied applied cultural sciences and education for primary schools and earned his doctorate on sustainable development from a systems theory perspective. Stefan has taken many further training courses including Creative Leadership (Kaospilots Aarhus), Integral Leadership (IMU Augsburg), and Solution Focusing and Systemic Constellations (SySt Munich).
He lives in Switzerland and Germany and has three grown-up sons.
