MONDAY SEPT 22
Planetary Health at the Nexus of Healthcare and Nutrition
NOW and Impact Stewards convene leaders from the Health Care and Food industries in a closed-door session to tackle one of the defining challenges of our time: how can we transition to healthier, more sustainable food systems while alleviating pressure on healthcare and reducing environmental impact?
3-5 PM
Co-hosted by NOW Partners Foundation and @Impact Stewards
By invitation only

The Healthy Future Network: Mobilizing Health Leaders for Systems Change
5-7 PM
Navigating the complexities of sustainability and driving impactful change in the health care and life sciences sectors during uncertain times requires a new kind of leadership. To help sustainability-minded senior leaders stay at the cutting edge, NOW Partners Foundation and Impact Stewards are launching the Healthy Future Network: an exclusive, peer-to-peer community designed for senior leaders in charge of sustainability in health-related industries to move beyond traditional sustainability models towards regenerative value creation.

The Healthy Future Network is designed for senior leaders who are visionary, strategic, and seeking meaningful connection with peers. In a safe, private setting, we’ll exchange experiences, dilemmas, and practical solutions – not panel talks or keynotes – but candid, forward-looking conversations with like-minded leaders who understand the challenges you face. This is a space for trusted dialogue—built around shared values and bold ambitions—where business leaders can reflect, recharge, and forge actionable collaborations. Co-hosted by NOW Partners Foundation and Impact Stewards

WEDNESDAY SEPT 24th
Beyond Net Zero: Tackling Scope 3 Emissions in Healthcare
9.00-11.00 AM
If the healthcare sector were classified as a nation, it would rank as the fifth-largest emitter globally. 70% of these Scope 3 emissions are deeply embedded within supply chains, a complex but manageable challenge. Nevertheless, fewer than 50% of healthcare companies are actively engaged in efforts to decarbonize their supply chains. At Climate Week NYC, NOW and Impact Stewards invite Supply Chain leaders from the healthcare and life sciences sectors to a closed-door session to share experiences and best practices to get to Net Zero – and beyond.
Co-hosted by NOW Partners Foundation and Impact Stewards
By invitation only

Rabobank + NOW: Climate Week NYC Roundtable
At Climate Week NYC, NOW and Rabobank will co-host a closed door roundtable, continuing the series of sessions launched in London for London Climate Action Week. Alongside Rabobank and NOW Partners Foundation, Brazil’s Ministry of Agrarian Development and other stakeholders were represented to explore how to finance the transition to models that integrate natural capital flows and ecological risks into financial accounting and decision-making. The goal is to turn scientific insight into actionable strategies for the financial sector by linking natural outcomes to financial performance. Closed door session by invitation only.

Sustainable Foods Showcase: Public Policy and Brazil’s Path to COP30 featuring Brazil’s First Lady, its Ministry of Finance and Energy producer Itaipu

NOW is pleased to partner with Food Tank and J.P. Morgan to present the Sustainable Foods Showcase that features Janja Lula da Silva, Brazil’s First Lady as well as Cristina Fróes de Borja Reis of Brazil’s Ministry of Finance and Itaipu’s Lígia Leite Soares, in dialogue with NOW’s Merijn Dols and Food Tank’s Danielle Nierenberg: The session entitled ‘Public Policy and Brazil’s Path to COP30’ will explore initiatives transitioning to sustainable and regenerative policies, and highlight the goals of this year’s upcoming COP in Belém. It also addresses the question how can sustainable development goals support just transitions in energy, social issues, and local communities? (By invitation. Sold Out)
