From Evidence to Investment: NOW at Climate Week NY with Rockefeller Foundation, TNC and Alliance Bioversity

NOW Partners Foundation is pleased to co-host an event at UNGA/Climate Week New York with The Rockefeller Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, Alliance Bioversity & CIAT.

NOW Partners Foundation was at UNFCCC’s mid-year Climate Conference, SB64, creating continuity between COP30 and COP31 to feature the COP30 Plan to Accelerate Solutions, the TERRA Action Agenda, and the Global Academy.

In addition to supporting farmer organizations in developing and fundraising for concrete projects, NOW Partners Foundation and Global Academy also collaborate with governments and financial institutions to develop and manage two types of Financial Guarantee Facilities.

Unicafes includes over 1,500 cooperatives with over 1 million farmers and foresters across Brasil. Forty percent of them are already doing agroecology and agroforestry, and many more want to transition.

CAMTA is one of the Amazon’s oldest and most successful agroforestry cooperatives whose members SAF innovations regenerate natural and social systems. Because of higher productivity and value additions CAMTA farmers have also greatly increased their regenerative prosperity.

Natura, Latin America’s largest beauty company, has been a partner of NOW Partners Foundation since they collaborated in creating and strengthening sustainable business alliances across Latin America. Natura is highly respected for its social and environmental commitment and initiatives, including funding and buying from agroforestry cooperatives for its value chain of Amazon forestry products.

NOW Partners Foundation, with Global Academy, is developing a model that not only scales agroforestry and regenerates natural systems but strengthens the income and social context of farmers.

NOW Partners Foundation will co-host an exclusive action and solutions dialogue evening in the margins of the UN’s mid-year Climate Conference, SB64 in Bonn, Germany. Featuring COP 30 Action Agenda Plans to Accelerate Solutions, PAS COACT + PAS TERRA and Global Academy for Agroecology and Productive Forests.

As founding partners of the TERRA COP30 Action Agenda for the mainstreaming of agroecology and agroforestry, NOW Partners Foundation, Brazil’s Ministry for Agrarian Development and Family Farming and Global Academy are co-hosting a series of Solutions Dinners during COP30 in Belem.
